The Kodak Instamatic my father handed me on my 14th birthday hooked me. In college I helped my instructors with darkroom work and they helped me land my first studio photography position where I also ran the custom black & white lab. On weekends I shot everything I could get paid for or was interesting. Authors, jazz musicians, motorcycles, landscapes, fashion, people; all fascinating fodder.
