The Mountain Moxie Women’s Motorcycle Conference held in Little Switzerland, NC will hopefully be an annual event. From the roads leading there to the amazing and accomplished female speakers from around the world, it was first class. Women rode through snow and ice from Ohio and New Jersey, across the desert from California and up from the heat of Florida to the frigid early spring mountains. This event, created by Robin Dail of Moto Girl Cafe featured Sofi Tsingos, bike builder, Gwen Phillips, long distance rider, Breeann Poland, Digital Marketing Manager for Royal Enfield North America, Laura Smith, owner of Worse for Wear motorcycle apparel, Liz Sorrell, Motorcycle Law Group, moto authors Gail Biddulph and Rae McKenzie, track coach Donna Gardner, the Motogirl GT Race Team and Blue Strada Motorcycle Tours.
We learned from each one, whether about gear, maintenance, racing or long distance riding. The crowd was diverse and empowering. I can’t wait for next year!
